Otey's
The Birmingham News labels Otey's Tavern the "Cheers" of Crestline. Otey's Tavern is a place where neighbors gather and the guests are treated like lifelong friends. Otey’s was originally founded by Catherine Oztekin, and named Cacky’s. Otey Hutchinson kept the original "y apostrophe s" in the Otey’s sign, when he took over the business in the early 1990s.
Otey's remains more than a watering hole; it is a fixture in the community that brings family, fun, and community together. Otey's has become an icon in Birmingham having celebrated its 20th year in 2009. Otey's remains committed to the community. Otey's is popular for it's outdoor patio, the awesome pub atmosphere, the live music, unbelievable food, and famous "Big Cup" cocktails. Rodney Davis, who has been part of Otey's for sixteen years, says "people don't realize how many families we serve in a day. A lot of these kids I have watched grow up and become successful adults. It's unbelievable. It's just Otey's man."
